After 3.11 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Hideo Saito, Japanese music producer, launched a charity project titled ‘Voices from the world project’. It was a participatory music project and is still open now. From anywhere in the world, you can easily get involved in the project. All you have to do is just sing his awesome new song ‘Voice’ via Skype. He will records your voice and video and will complete the song and release it from iTunes. All the profit would be donated to the Japanese Red Cross to aid the victims.
友人の音楽プロデューサー斉藤英夫さんが、3.11東日本大震災直後にたちあげたチャリティープロジェクト 『Voice from the world project』 。震災直後から彼のfacebookウォールに寄せられた世界中からの心温まるコメントを見て、国境を越えた暖かい気持ちをなんとか被災地の方々に届ける方法はないだろうかと考え、このプロジェクトを始めたそうだ。急遽書き下ろしたオリジナル楽曲 『Voice』 には、英語と日本語（ローマ字）の歌詞が用意されている。それをインターネットのSkype経由で世界中の人たちに唄っていただき、楽曲とミュージックビデオを同時に完成させてしまおうというユニークな試みだ。「プロのように唄う必要はありません。心の底から気持ちをこめて唄っていただければ…」ということなので、主旨に賛同するかたであれば誰でも参加可能。
