Chizuru Masumura

Chizuru Masumura, born in Yamaguchi prefecture in 1972, lives in Osaka. Her work is described as “amazing realistic…” because of the photo-realistic oil paintings. Especially, realistic depictions of human skin are often found in her works. Her exhibition will be held at neutron-Tokyo (Gaienmae, Tokyo), until December 11. *Chizuru Masumura is a contract artist of neutron. ニュートロン東京で開催されている益村千鶴さんの個展 「SOMEDAY」。12/11（日）まで開催中。”驚愕の写実絵画”と言われるだけあってさすがにどの作品にも力があった。写真作品と油画作品が同時に展示されていても、トーンが統一されているのでその境界はまったく感じさせない。当たり前だがすべてが益村千鶴の世界。個人的には、ポラロイドで撮影したぐらいの大きさの写真をレトロ風味に加工してオシャレに額装してあった作品群と、吹き抜けの壁に掛けられていた”Lasting song”が気に入った。特に100号サイズの油画”Lasting song”は、その大きさからくる存在感もさることながら、作品自体が放つパワーに負けた。思わず言葉を忘れて見入ってしまう存在感。※益村千鶴さんはneutronの契約作家です。絵画作品についてのお問い合わせはneutronまで。
