Biography
MICHAEL POWER is a Japanese illustrator, born in 1982 in Wakayama prefecture. After graduated from Marronnier College of Fashion Design(Osaka) she worked for an apparel company. And in 2007, she started her career of freelance illustrator. She set up an art performance unit "BEAR KNUCKLE " in 2008 with two other illustrators from the same city. Since then, she has done many live painting performances, actively and continuously. Works: Illustration for tarot cards. CD cover design for BIND-VOiCE. Illustration for STUDIO hischrome. Illustration for SCT in KUMANO. Illustration for MDN (Monthly magazine published from MdN Corporation). Exhibition: Art CUBE (Wakayama, Wakayama), Big-U (Tanabe, Wakayama), Cafe BREATH (Shingu, Wakayama). DESIGN FESTA (Tokyo), 2011. Live Paintings: ReD ZoNe @STREET(Nagoya, Aichi), 2009.
